Bowmore Whisky.

The brief.

As part of a previous agency, we were approached by Bowmore Whisky to help establish itself in the whisky market. The challenge was to increase awareness of the brand and make a ‘splash’ amongst it competitors. The company wanted to see ideas from the very inexpensive, to the monumental - for a full range of what could be done.

No matter the size or cost, the business wanted ideas.

The outcome.

Having such an open brief is a rare thing, so I looked to go big and offer conceptual ideas on a experiential basis. Something that would stand out in the market, as well as its surroundings. I began with a Canary Wharf based whisky barrel, from which those could experience the sights and smells of a whisky cellar - as well as try the product itself.

I then accompanied that with an ‘on the road’ museum. A conveted articulated truck that would act as a walkthough of the company’s history - offering whisky tasting and an overall immersive experience to the Bowmore.
