Marie Claire x Klarna.

 

The brief.

I was given the task to visually bring to life a creative partnership idea for Marie Claire x Klarna. The expectancy was to see the production of a campaign logo featuring the the ‘Kitted out with Klarna’ campaign idea, as well as a social post capturing the campaign message. From here it was left to interpretation and the chance to craft something without too many influences or boundaries.

 

The outcome.

Having initially researched Klarna as a brand, my intention was to create an asset that would have brand continuity from itself, through to an eventual Klarna webpage. With that in mind I took inspiration from brand colours, image styling (rounded corners) and the use of a branded font for consistency. Once establishing a look and feel, this in turn left me with the right components to then begin constructing an idea. It was then my decision to lead with a particular design which was then eventually enhanced with a rounded border. This lent itself to being different sizes as well as fitting a negative version which would be legible, on brand and effective enough to get the message across.
